Labor’s Take on Immigration Reform: No Guest Worker Program

During the Senate Immigration Subcommittee Hearing on April 30, Eliseo Medina of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) testified about the need for reform, but also the need to protect the American worker.

Medina warned that the current system had to be replaced because it had stratified American labor and made it tough for unions to win better wages and working conditions.
