Andrea on Panel for David Sirota’s New Book

Tomorrow DMI's Andrea Batista Schlesinger will be on a panel discussing David Sirota's new book, The Uprising: An Unauthorized Tour of the Populist Revolt Scaring Wall Street and Washington, and "rise of a new progressive politics in New York."

The book is, according to Sirota's website, "a firsthand narrative account inside America's new populist movement, from the streets of New York City to the halls of Microsoft to the deserts at the Mexican border."

In addition to author David Sirota, the panel will include State Senator Eric Schneiderman, Working Families Party's Dan Cantor, and Progressive States Network's Joel Barkin. The panel will be held Tuesday at The Strand Bookstore (828 Broadway) from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
