What a relief… Tom Cruise lands well

Today, on this day in which the New York Times reports in a cover story that, although productivity has risen, wages have not, such that "wages and salaries now make up the lowest share of the nation's gross domestic product since the government began recording the data in 1947, while corporate profits have climbed to their highest share since the 1960's," I am relieved to know that Tom Cruise has, indeed, secured funding for his film company, rebounding from his untimely dismissal from Paramount Pictures.

Now that he has found a second gig, without even the need to go for retraining like the rest of America's "let go" (he always was an overachiever), we can put him in a room with me and find an average wage worthy of the President's official economic policy of optimism.
