Tanya Elena Balsky

Tanya Balsky is a Research Intern for the Drum Major Institute for Public Policy. Tanya has worked with Social Compact, a non-profit that works to address some of the key impediments to private investment in inner-city communities by providing market analysis profiles that reveal the hidden strengths of traditionally undervalued communities. Apart from her work in urban development, she has also worked on environmental policy issues and as an advocate for sexual health and HIV/AIDS education. She also served as a senior editor of the Georgetown Public Policy Review, and received Master of Public Policy degree from the Georgetown Public Policy Institute in May 2006.
