Joy Moses
Joy Moses is one of the editors of "Awakening from the Dream: Civil Rights Under Siege and the New Struggle for Equal Justice". Published in 2005, the book details how decisions being made in the federal courts are negatively impacting the civil and social justice rights of almost every political subgroup of American society. Ms. Moses is currently the Education Staff Attorney at the National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty (NLCHP). She engages in federal and state level policy and legal advocacy designed to increase educational and life opportunities for the youngest victims of poverty. Prior to joining NLCHP, Ms. Moses was an Equal Justice Works fellow at the NAACP Legal Defense Fund (LDF). She is a graduate of Georgetown Law School and Stanford University.
