Jonathan helped found Human Impact Partners in the summer of 2006 and is currently Project Director at HIP. HIP believes that health should be considered in all decision making and uses a set of tools, called Health Impact Assessment, to evaluate health impacts and inequities in order to transform the policies, institutions, and places people need to live healthy lives.
Prior to HIP, Jonathan worked for nine years in the biotechnology industry and served in the Peace Corps in Papua New Guinea. He received his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and his doctorate in Biophysics from the University of California, Berkeley.
