Chris Keeley
Chris Keeley is Associate Director of Common Cause/NY, which strives to strengthen our democracy by empowering its members, supporters and the general public to take action on critical policy issues and to hold their elected leaders accountable to the public interest.
Chris has held several positions for legislators and electoral candidates in Southeastern Pennsylvania in recent years, including Interim Chief of Staff, Director of Community & Legislative Affairs, Campaign Treasurer, and Deputy Campaign Manager. Prior to that, Chris was Campaigns Organizer at New York's nationally-renowned economic
justice resource center, Neighborhood Economic Development Advocacy Project. NEDAP's mission is to promote community economic justice and to eliminate discriminatory economic practices that harm communities and perpetuate inequality and poverty.
Chris attended NYU's Gallatin School, has served as an AmeriCorps volunteer, and currently lives in Central Brooklyn. He will pursue a Masters in Urban Planning at NYU's Wagner School of Public Service in 2008.
