Arva Rice
Arva Rice has more than 15 years experience in the non-profit arena. She is currently the Executive Director of Project Enterprise, an organization that provides business loans, technical assistance and peer support to New York City entrepreneurs who lack adequate access to business financing. Previously she served as the founding Executive Director of Public Allies New York - a young adult leadership program dedicated to helping develop the next generation of non-profit leaders.
Arva has published a number of articles for journals such as the Journal for Nonprofit Management, as well as a book titled Money Matters: An Economic Literacy Action Kit for Girls.
Arva has served on the Board of Directors of the Central Brooklyn Partnership a non-profit dedicated to financial literacy and education in Bedford-Stuyvesant, and currently is Chair of the North Star Fund Board of Directors.
Most recently Arva was named one of The Network Journal's "Forty Under 40" Black Achiever's Award Winners. She graduated from the Northwestern University's School of Education in Evanston, IL, and currently lives in Harlem.
