Alex Sugerman-Brozan
ALEX SUGERMAN-BROZAN is the Director of Prescription Access Litigation (PAL). He coordinates PAL’s work to end illegal pharmaceutical industry tactics, including overseeing PAL’s coalition of over 130 consumer advocacy organizations, PAL’s involvement in pharmaceutical class aciton lawsuits, and PAL’s public education activities. Prior to joining PAL in March 2004, he was a Staff Attorney at Health Law Advocates, a non-profit public interest law firm affiliated with Health Care For All of Massachusetts that provides free legal representation to low-income consumers experiencing legal problems related to health care. At HLA, he represented consumers in a wide variety of cases, including Medicaid and private insurance appeals, deceptive marketing/consumer protection cases, disputes with hospitals, and other issues. He received his law degree from Northeastern University School of Law and his B.A. from Tufts University.
